Led by Department Chair , the NYU Health Sciences Library (NYUHSL) recently won the 2025 Research Advancement in Health Sciences Librarianship Award from the . The award celebrates leadership in advancing research practice within health sciences librarianship. for sustaining a research culture at NYU Langone Health that empowers librarians to contribute meaningfully to clinical care, education, research, and administrative innovation across the institution. Recent projects include the development of a simulated evaluation of evidence-based practice skills among medical students, work that connects nurses with evidence sources that support practice at different career stages, and the design of resources that support researchers as they ethically and efficiently share data in compliance with National Institutes of Health regulations.
