At NYU Langone Brooklyn Medical Arts Pavilion, our board-certified physicians provide expert care for everyday ailments as well as more complex medical issues.

Our staff includes primary care doctors as well as experts for adults and children in the following specialties.

Cardiology

Our cardiologists manage chronic cardiologic conditions, including cholesterol abnormalities, complex valvular heart disease (aortic and mitral), syncope, arrhythmia, palpitations, and coronary artery disease. They also work to prevent heart disease in those with a family history of early heart disease.

Endocrinology

Our specialists treat patients with various endocrinologic disorders, hormonal imbalances, and thyroid conditions, including adrenal disorders, diabetes care, thyroid disease, high cholesterol and other lipid disorders, pituitary tumors, and testosterone disorder.

Gastroenterology

Our gastroenterologists provide preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment for digestive system conditions.

Infectious diseases

Infectious disease doctors treat a variety of diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, bone and soft tissue infections, and travel-related infections.

Neurological Care

Treating the entire spectrum of neurological conditions, our team includes general neurologists and neurologists with advanced subspecialty training and expertise in the conditions below.

Epilepsy Treatment

Our collaborative team of experts at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at NYU Langone Brooklyn Medical Arts Pavilion includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, and epileptologists—neurologists who specialize in epilepsy. They care for adults and children with all types of epilepsy and seizure disorders, including those most difficult to control, by using traditional and experimental treatments.

Movement Disorders Treatment

Our movement disorder neurologists collaborate with neuropsychologists, neurophysiologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroradiologists. They are committed to providing relief and improving quality of life for people with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. The treatments and therapies we use include botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation, to help people live as independently as possible.

Multiple Sclerosis Treatment

The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society has designated us an MS Comprehensive Care Center. We work closely with patients and their families to maximize potential and minimize symptoms. Through diagnostic testing and a neurological examination, we identify the type of multiple sclerosis and develop a personalized management plan to halt the disease and alleviate symptoms.

Stroke Treatment

We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center as designated by The Joint Commission. Our board-certified neurologists provide comprehensive evaluation, management, and treatment of stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), carotid artery disease, intracerebral aneurysm, and other cerebral vascular diseases.

We also provide on-site neuropsychology services.

Surgical Services

Our skilled surgeons perform procedures related to vascular diseases, weight loss, colorectal conditions, and neurological conditions, including aneurysms.

We provide patients with safe, advanced care in the following surgical specialties:

Primary Care

Our physicians deliver expert care for a wide range of common and complex illnesses. We also offer annual wellness visits, urgent sick visits, immunizations, and preventive healthcare.

Laboratory Testing Services

We offer certain laboratory services on-site, including blood testing and monitoring for patients who are receiving anticoagulation therapy to treat cardiac conditions.
