As a primary care physician at Family Physician Family Health Center at NYU Langone, I have the privilege of providing care to patients ranging from newborns to centenarians. 

With more than 30 years of practice at NYU Langone, I have cultivated enduring relationships with my patients, who value the continuity of care and the strong connection with my healthcare team. It’s an extraordinary honor to often serve three to four generations within a single family. Our association with NYU specialists, the latest technological resources, and the timely communication facilitated by MyChart enhance the quality and efficiency of the care our patients receive.

In my practice, I focus on preventive care and chronic disease management for conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. My approach is collaborative, involving specialists, dietitians, care coordinators, and clinical pharmacologists when necessary to ensure comprehensive care. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals facing behavioral health challenges by integrating behavioral health services into our primary care setting. 

My passion for medicine is deeply personal, driven by my commitment to care for my family, as we lacked a physician among us. This desire has shaped my career path in family medicine, where I can extend my care beyond my immediate family to others in need.

Beyond the clinic, I find profound joy in training medical students and residents, and I am proud to have been recognized with the 2000 American Academy of Family Physicians Best Teacher Award. Similarly, I am deeply committed to empowering patients with knowledge about their health and conditions through education and shared decision-making to promote their wellbeing.
