As the director of psychology at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to children and adolescents. My work centers on understanding the unique challenges faced by young people and their families, and I help to create a supportive environment in which they can express themselves freely.

I specialize in treating children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and mood disorders. Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong, trusting relationships with my patients and their families. I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), unified transdiagnostic protocol, and family-based interventions. My goal is to equip children with the coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience they need to succeed both academically and socially.

I have always been drawn to the field because of my deep interest in early childhood development and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. I have been fortunate to contribute to research on therapeutic interventions for ADHD, including the MTA, PATS, and TADS studies. which has enhanced my clinical practice.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a dedicated supervisor and have been recognized for my commitment to education and mentorship, receiving the Teacher of the Year award in 2007, 2015, and 2022 at NYU Langone Grossman School of Medicine. This honor reflects my dedication to training the next generation of clinicians in providing high-quality, compassionate care.
