As a dedicated physician at NYU Langone Health, I am committed to providing comprehensive care that treats the whole person, not just the illness. By building lasting relationships with my patients, I address the medical, emotional, and social factors influencing health. I strive to create a welcoming and respectful environment for all my patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

I specialize in quality improvement, supportive housing for older adults, and care for individuals experiencing homelessness. My work at the Community Medicine Program—Family Health Centers at NYU Langone involves hosting the annual memorial service for the homeless, reflecting my dedication to this vulnerable population. As a National Health Service Corps scholar and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice.

Since joining the St. Vincent’s Community Medicine Program in 1999, I have been an integral part of its evolution, now under the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone. My extensive experience in community medicine has equipped me with unique skills and methodologies to meet patients where they are in life, providing care that is both accessible and compassionate. This approach ensures that we address the diverse needs of our patients, from medical care to crisis intervention and long-term counseling.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. I am honored to continue the legacy of the Community Medicine Program, which began in 1969 as the first modern healthcare program for the homeless in the nation. Through my work, I aim to uphold the principles of this pioneering program, ensuring that we provide comprehensive care to over 6,000 people each year across various settings, including drop-in centers, shelters, and community clinics.
