As an obstetric patient safety officer at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for every patient. I specialize in managing patients with a wide range of obstetric conditions, from routine pregnancies to high-risk cases involving complications such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and postpartum hemorrhage. My role involves both preventing and managing obstetric complications, requiring constant vigilance and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure the highest standards of safety for both mothers and newborns.

Throughout my career, I have developed unique skills in handling high-acuity obstetric situations. I routinely manage obstetric emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive crises, which demand rapid assessment and decisive intervention. Additionally, I participate in operative deliveries, including complex cesarean sections, where technical skill and calm leadership are crucial in high-pressure environments. My journey into medicine began with a deep love for the sciences, nurtured by a family friend who became a mentor. Inspired by his dedication to patient care, I pursued a career in medicine and discovered my passion for obstetrics and gynecology during clinical rotations in medical school. The balance between surgery and medicine, combined with the exemplary role models I encountered, solidified my interest in this specialty.
