As an interventional radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing patient-centered care through minimally invasive techniques. Each day, I am inspired by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in my patients’ lives, helping them achieve better health and wellbeing.

I specialize in treating patients with complex liver conditions and managing hemodialysis access. My expertise includes performing intricate procedures such as unclogging blood vessels, stopping trauma or tumor-related acute bleeding, placing shunts in patients with chronic liver disease, and removing blockages in the liver and kidney. Additionally, I am actively involved in the national PE-TRACT clinical trial, which compares the long-term benefits of blood thinning medication versus the removal of clots for patients with pulmonary embolisms.

Throughout my career, I have focused on using innovative imaging modalities, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT) scans, to guide small instruments through the body for complex procedures. This approach not only reduces patient discomfort and speeds recovery but also enhances the precision and effectiveness of treatments. My dedication to proactive healthcare engagement ensures that patients are diagnosed and treated as early as possible, particularly in cases of cancer.

My journey into medicine was inspired by my curiosity about biology and the ability to ease human suffering. As a visual person, I was drawn to radiology and the evolving technological applications within the field. My training in interventional radiology has equipped me with the skills to offer cutting-edge treatments and foster meaningful patient–provider relationships. At NYU Langone, my team and I are committed to providing compassionate and competent care, using innovative techniques and collaborating with other specialists to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
