As a vascular and general surgeon at NYU Langone Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Associates, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. My daily practice is driven by the rewarding experience of helping individuals regain their health and wellbeing.

I specialize in complex aortic interventions, vascular reconstruction in the context of oncologic surgery, and trauma management. These areas demand a high level of expertise and meticulous attention to detail, which I bring to every patient interaction. My clinical work spans a diverse patient population, reflecting my commitment to both academic medicine and public service.

Throughout my career, I have focused on surgical decision-making, particularly how we evaluate risk and manage uncertainty to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. I believe that great surgery depends as much on how we think as on what we do. This philosophy guides my teaching as well, as I work closely with medical students, residents, and fellows to develop thoughtful, capable surgeons prepared to lead in every setting.

My journey into medicine began through military service, where witnessing the devastating injuries sustained by men and women in combat instilled in me a deep desire to care for those in harm’s way and inspired me to become a physician. I continue to serve as a military surgeon, and that experience remains central to my approach to surgery, leadership, and decision-making in complex, high-stakes environments.

I consider it a privilege to be a vascular surgeon, and I feel incredibly fortunate to do this work. I look forward to helping people—patients, students, and colleagues—for many years to come.
