As a psychologist at NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care to my patients. My approach is deeply influenced by the belief that the symptom is a silenced truth that needs to be heard, a concept proposed by psychoanalyst Agnes Aflalo. I strive to create a warm and safe environment where patients feel comfortable exploring their inner truths and experiences.

I specialize in treating patients with a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. Additionally, I lead a weekly therapy group focused on helping individuals navigate their cultural and racial identities.

My practice is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, and I integrate techniques from emotion-focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to facilitate self-understanding and co-create lasting changes.

With extensive experience in psychotherapy, I emphasize a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach to care. My research on narrative and emotion processes in psychotherapy informs my practice, allowing me to pay close attention to how patients tell their stories. I support patients in making meaning of those stories and building pathways towards change.
