As a senior attending on the labor and delivery floor at NYU Langone Health, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and safe care during one of the most significant events in a patient's life. My philosophy centers on patient autonomy, ensuring that each individual is actively involved in their care while maintaining the highest standards of safety. I believe that the pregnancy and delivery experience is a unique opportunity for patients to engage closely with their healthcare providers, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances overall outcomes.

I specialize in both obstetrics and gynecology, with a particular focus on high-risk obstetrics. My board certifications in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal–fetal medicine reflect my extensive training and expertise in managing complex pregnancies. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic concerns. In my current role, I provide comprehensive care for any patient admitted to the labor and delivery floor, offering backup and assistance to all clinical caregivers.

With years of experience in both private practice and academic settings, I have developed a deep understanding of clinical obstetrics. My work involves caring for patients from early pregnancy through labor and delivery, and I take pride in following them for years afterward. My role as safety officer at NYU Langone allows me to leverage my expertise to ensure a safe and positive delivery experience for all patients, whether their pregnancies are uncomplicated or medically complex.

My journey into medicine was fueled by a lifelong love of the sciences and a passion for working with people. Obstetrics and gynecology offered the perfect blend of these interests, allowing me to care for patients throughout various life stages.
