As a neurointensivist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients experiencing neurologic emergencies. My approach emphasizes timely and precise interventions to improve patient outcomes.

I specialize in the acute care and treatment of patients with a wide range of neurologic emergencies, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, status epilepticus, meningitis/encephalitis, and traumatic brain injuries. My expertise allows me to address these critical conditions with the latest best practices. Additionally, I manage the care of patients after surgery to prevent complications and ensure optimal recovery.

Throughout my career, I have focused on advancing our understanding of neurologic outcomes through research. My primary research interests include identifying predictors of clinical outcomes following brain injuries caused by cardiac arrest, ischemic stroke, or hemorrhagic stroke. This research is vital to develop strategies to enhance recovery and improve long-term patient prognoses.

My journey into medicine was driven by a passion for neurology and a commitment to education. I am actively involved in the training and supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice care providers. This role allows me to share my knowledge and experience, ensuring that the next generation of healthcare professionals is well-equipped to handle neurologic and neurosurgical emergencies.
